General tips for claims
  • Do not panic
  • Safety first
    • give first aid to injured and take to the nearest hospital
    • save property from further damage
  • In case of casualty report to nearest police station
  • Inform Insurer as soon as possible
  • Do not repair damaged property (except minor repair) before Insurer or his representative inspect the property
  • Do not negotiate with third party without consent of Insurer in case of legal liability
  • Submit estimate of repair/replacement cost
  • Obtain permission from Insurer for repair / replace
  • Finally repair/replace & submit cash bill
