General tips for claims
- Do not panic
- Safety first
- give first aid to injured and take to the nearest hospital
- save property from further damage
- In case of casualty report to nearest police station
- Inform Insurer as soon as possible
- Do not repair damaged property (except minor repair) before Insurer or his representative inspect the property
- Do not negotiate with third party without consent of Insurer in case of legal liability
- Submit estimate of repair/replacement cost
- Obtain permission from Insurer for repair / replace
- Finally repair/replace & submit cash bill
